Pattern Description:

The Iris Top is a made-to-measure pattern that features delicate, lace-up detailing along the sides, spaghetti straps, and 2 customizable lengths (cropped and full-length). This pattern combines knit and crochet techniques to create an intricate, camisole-style top adorned with ruffles at both the neckline and bottom hem. This pattern is intended for confident beginners or intermediate-level artists. Please note that this pattern utilizes both knitting & crocheting, and you are expected to know the basics of each craft. On that note, video and photo tutorials are embedded within the PDF, so don't worry if you need a refresher!


Materials:

Approx. 150-300 yds (cropped length) OR 250-400 yds (full-length) of medium worsted weight yarn in MAIN COLOR (i.e. Caron Simply Soft, Laines Du Nord Dolly Maxi, Big Twist Value, Red Heart Super Saver, etc.)
Approx. 80-150 yds of DK or light worsted weight yarn in ACCENT COLOR (i.e. any mohair held double, DROPS Kid-Silk, Hobbii Diablo, Red Heart Scrubby, etc.)
Recommended needle size: 6.0mm/US 10 circular knitting needles with 16"-20" long cord OR appropriate needle size to match gauge/yarn weight
8.0mm/L crochet hook or larger - for binding off
6.0mm/J crochet hook
4.5mm/G crochet hook
3.0mm/D crochet hook or smaller - for detailing
Stitch markers
Tapestry/darning needle - to weave in ends
Flexible tape measure
Scissors


Gauge:

Instructions are included in the pattern to calculate gauge and stitch counts. Use an appropriate size of knitting needles for the yarn you plan to use (i.e. the size recommended on the yarn label).
